Sidharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar WorkoutSidharth Malhotra and Akshay Kumar worked hard for the upcoming film Brothers remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior starring Tom Hardy. Apart from Sidharth and Akshay film also stars  Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff. Sidharth and Akshay look ripped and rugged in the official trailer and are showing off their ripped physique. To match Akshay's physique Sidharth even changed his diet, workout regime and entire lifestyle, he worked very hard. Let us look at Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra's Workout routine and diet plan for movie.





Sidharth learned mixed martial arts which is a full-contact combat sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques. He has incorporated MMA in his regular fitness regimen. He feels it conditions the entire body and is quite fast-paced which he enjoys doing. He used to bathe with ice cold water and gained at least 8 kg of muscle weight for this film. Sidharth also changed his diet plan and went on a high protein diet to bulk up for playing the role of Monty Fernandes in the movie. 

"Sidharth has done a brilliant job. He has shocked me. He doesn't have any background in martial arts but he really worked very hard. "He has worked more hard. I have got several injuries... Hope he doesn't fall while doing action," says Akshay Kumar.

Akshay Kumar also worked hard for playing the role of David Fernandes for the movie. Akshay helped Sidharth to how to master this combat fitness form because he has learnt martial arts before so he can guide Sidharth.

Akshay Kumar prepared for a pivotal fight for this movie.  "On the top of a a hill ock, a house has been built with an outdoor gymnasium where Akshay's character, an ageing fighter, is seen working out," informed a source from the unit. Director Karan Malhotra also canned a rope-climbing scene which ends with Akki scaling a wall.
