Prabhas Workout & Diet for Baahubali 2

Prabhas has worked very hard on his Physique and gained lots of weight for his upcoming film Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which is second part of the movie Baahubali which was released in 2015. The Final part of the movie is scheduled to released on 28 April. Few Days back we shared the Workout and Diet followed by Rana Daggubati for Baahubali 2, now we'll share how Prabhas took his body transformation to the next level. For the first part Prabhas gained about 20 kg of weight and weighted about 105 kg. But now for the Second part of the movie he has gained 30 kg of weight. So let us look at Prabhas Gym Training workout routine and diet plan.

Height: 6 ft 2 in or 188 cm
Weight: 85 kg or 187 pounds (normal weight)

Chest: 45 Inches
Biceps: 17 Inches
Waist: 32 inches

Workout routine


Prabhas works out for 5 hours daily in the gym for the secon part of the movie Baahubali. He has divided his workout into 2 segments- morning and evening. In the morning his workout begins with basic warm up with Cardio, stretching and Yoga followed by Cross-fit and plyometric exercises. Evening session is devoted for heavy weight training exercises. Prabhas visited US and interacted with WWF stars and observed their training session and training style and apparently imported body building equipment worth 1.5 crore INR from abroad.

He used compound movements like dead-lifts, squats and bench presses instead of isolation exercises will helped him to gain lots of muscle mass in relatively less time. Prabhas is training with Laxman Reddy who is an Indian bodybuilder and has won 2010 Mr. World Championship that was held in Las Vegas. Prabhas never misses a workout session even if he is shooting till 11 pm, he will come from the shoot and then go for workout. He is very dedicated and committed person to work with.

"Prabhas has done risky things for his role and even though the team would take all precautions, he has had some injuries. But that did not stop him. He would undergo physiotherapy sessions and continue his workouts," Laxman Reddy said.

Diet plan

For diet he ate 7-8 meals a day which contains 2000 to 4000 calories. His diet majorly includes 50 egg whites, half kg of chicken, salads and fruits and brown rice.

For Breakfast he eats around 40 half boiled eggs blended and added with protein powder.
Lunch includes brown rice, oat meal and vegetable salads along with fibrous carbs like broccoli, spinach and pasta.
He also includes 500gm chicken/fish in his diet. 
He eats Protein powder with soup/milk post workout and before going to bed.
