Tamil actor Suriya Workout & Diet

Saravanan Sivakumar better known as Suriya is popular tamil actor. He is best known for Nandha, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Ghajini, Vaaranam Aayiram, Ayan, Singam and Singam 2. "Working on the abs alone is not enough, one has to workout every part of the body. The abs will follow. There is a lot of core, mixed with aerobics and exercises that focus on the abdominal muscles," says Suriya. Let us look at Suriya's Complete Workout Schedule.

Suriya Workout routine

He work out for 2 hours daily for the movie Singham 2 according to his trainer Alkhas. He starts his workout with Cardiovascular exercises (like running) for half an hour and then one and a half hours consists of muscle building exercises such as weight training. Main exercises included in his schedule are Pull ups, chin ups, Hanging leg raises, hanging oblique raises and static hanging leg raises. Do all these exercises are for strengthening the core and building the abs.

Suriya Diet Plan

According to Suriya, "The diet is probably the most important component of the whole regime. Right after working out it is essential to give your muscles that protein they need to repair ripped muscles.  There is no point in working out really hard and not sticking to a proper diet."

Breakfast: Breakfast consists of egg whites
Lunch: Chicken and rice for Lunch
Dinner: Dinner is same as lunch
Snack: Healthy and light snacks such as Fruits

Suriya stays away from oily foods and all milk products. He also cut out salt from his diet. He drinks a lot of Water daily, since it is one of the best ways to get rid of toxins in the body, that can also lead to bloating and lack of muscle definition.
