Jared LetoJared Leto is American actor, producer and singer. He is best known for Requiem for a Dream, Dallas Buyers Club, Mr. Nobody, Artifact. Jered gained 67 lbs of weight for his role in Chapter 27 which caused him some health problems. So he vowed that he would never gain weight again for a movie role. After that to play the role of a transsexual women in Dallas Buyers Club for which he lost 30 lbs and went from 146 pounds to 116 pounds. Now Jared Leto Bulked up to play the role of "Joker" in the movie Suicide Squad. He posted a picture on his Instagram profile looking muscular and toned. So let us look at the workout routine and diet plan followed by Jared Leto for playing the role of Joker in Suicide Squad.

Workout routine

Jared Leto workouts for 5 days a week- 3 days of weightlifting and 2 days for Yoga/Cycling/Hiking. He is a adventurous kind of person and likes outdoor activities then indoor. Exercises that are included in his workouts- Push-ups, Pull-ups, Sit-ups, Bench Press, Bicep Curls, etc. He also practices various cardio workouts to to add leanness to his body. As he requires lean muscle for playing the role of Joker, so the body he requires is kind of Charlie Cox's in Daredevil and not like Henry Cavill's in Superman. Jared Leto has been a vegan from last 20 years. So he avoids all types of animal foods like Chicken, Fish, Steak which are necessary for bulk-up. So it was not easy for him to bulk-up. He eats salted nuts and legumes for protein requirement and rice and whole grains for carbohydrates. He gained 67 pounds by eating all junk foods like pizza, ice cream mixed with soy sauce and olive oil, etc. which caused him health issues. Then he followed a liquid fast diet to drop weight quickly which is also not healthy. 

But now he tries to eat as much as clean possible and avoids all kinds of junk foods, sugar, and even alcohol and includes whole nutritious foods like fruits and vegetables.
