Tim McGraw was born on May 1, 1967 is an American singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known for The Blind Side, CMA Music Fest 2010, Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years, The 55th Annual Grammy Awards. He has developed a ridiculously ripped physique since losing 40 pounds a few years ago. Also, being in shape helps Tim with his high-energy performances night after night while on tour. Tim says about his training: “I try to mix it up with different types of things, I really like Cross-fit with the ropes, flipping a 300 pound tire and using a sledgehammer… when I’m getting ready for a tour, I will do a couple hours of exercises 3 times a day.”
He is a fan of Cross-fit work outs and trains with martial-arts expert Roger Yuan. "We work with pulleys, bars and do core training, strength and balanced movements to build up the muscles between the ribs and connective tissues," says Yuan.
Eating and Nutrition
- Breakfast: Fresh berries, muesli, natural yogurt, mixed in a regular cereal bowl
- Snack: Protein Bar
- Lunch: Tuna served on halved avocado, rocket salad and olive oil
- Snack: Handful of nuts almonds, pecans, or walnuts with a fruit smoothie
- Dinner: Grilled salmon, basil mix and sliced lightly fried polenta slices
