Hugh Jackman workout and diet. Hugh Michael Jackman ( Hugh Jackman ) was born 12 October 1968 is an Australian actor and producer who is involved in film, musical theater, and television. He is best known for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men film series, as well as for his leads in Kate & Leopold, Van Helsing, The Prestige, Australia, and Real Steel. He is 6'3" in height and having about 190 pounds weight. He acted as Wolverine in the X-Men series, showed us nice piece of body. Jackman has been in good shape since he started doing movies. The man shows consistence in his fitness and that is a key reason he has achieved such an appreciable body. Let us look at his workout routine.

Workouts and Equipments


In Jackman's workout  focus is gaining muscle and strength and fat loss. Gaining mass is one phase and strength is one phase. Each phase lasts 6 weeks and is rotated over 5 months. During the last week of each phase, putting on mass or strength, he focuses on fat loss.





Day 1 – Chest

  • Incline Dumbbell Press – 4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 6 reps
  • Barbell Bench Press – 4 sets of 15, 12, 10, 8 reps
  • Cable Crossover – 4 sets of 15, 12, 10, 8 reps

Day 2 – Back

  • Pull ups – 4 sets of 15, 12, 10, 8 reps
  • Barbell Dead lift – 4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 6 reps
  • Seated Cable Rows – 4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 8 reps

 



Day 3 – Legs

  • Leg Extensions - 4 sets of 15, 12, 10, 8 reps
  • Lying Leg Curls - 4 sets of 15, 12, 10, 8 reps
  • Leg Press or Squat - 4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 6 reps

Day 4 – Shoulders

  • Seated Side Lateral Raise - 4 sets of 12 reps each
  • Seated Bent-Over Rear Delt Raise - 4 sets of 12 reps each
  • Standing Military Press - 4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 6 reps

Day 5 – Arms

  • Dumbbell Bicep Curl - 4 sets of 12 reps
  • Barbell Curl - 4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 8 reps
  • One Arm Dumbbell Preacher Curl - 4 sets of 12, 12, 10, 10 reps
  • Dumbbell One Arm Triceps Extension - 4 sets of 12 reps
  • Skull Crushers - 4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 8 reps
  • Triceps Pushdown – Rope Attachment - 4 sets of 12 reps each





Diet and Nutrition 

He is very conscious about his diet. He takes 6000 calories per day. He likes to eat dark chocolate and ice creams. Let us look at his diet.





  • Early Morning: eat 4 egg whites.

  • Breakfast: combination of protein / streamed vegetables and brown rice. He takes protein generally in the form of protein shakes.
  • Lunch: Jackman does not eat rice or carbohydrates. He only stresses on vegetables (like broccoli, cauliflower, etc.), meat, fish, chicken breast , steaks.
  • Before bed: he used to have protein smoothie.
