Aamir Khan Workout and Diet for Dangal

Aamir Khan is well known for his body transformations he has achieved for his movie roles. From Ghajini to Dhoom 3 and now for Dangal shows his dedication and hard work for each role. For Dangal Aamir Khan turned to 97 kilos for playing the first part of the movie where he was playing older version of wrestler and then lost 25 kg in just 5 months for playing the second part for playing the younger version of wrestler in the movie. Aamir Khan's reduced his body fat from 38% to 9% within 25 weeks. “I would like to mention that putting on weight and losing it so fast is very unhealthy. I did it for my film under the supervision of experts, but it is very unhealthy for any regular person,”Aamir Said. Diet Plan

For gaining weight for the first part he ate everything, from brownies to samosas, vada paos, chocolates, ice cream, cakes everyday. This is the cheat sheet for gaining weight just link Aamir but it is very unhealthy.

For getting back in shape from being fat to fit, Aamir followed following diet plan:

Breakfast: Upma and Papaya.
Lunch: 2 Chapattis, vegetables and atleast 300 gm of grains.
During busy schedule: 500 gm tuna, 1 slice of bread along with protein shakes.

"If you have an ultimate goal in mind, make sure you don’t look up to see it. If you look at Mt Everest and think about where you have to reach, you’ll simply give up, you’ll get depressed. But if you look down and just focus on every step, and push yourself to take just the next step, you’ll reach your goal eventually," said Aamir.

Workout routine

Aamir had a rigorous workout at the gym and it was extremely hard for him initially due to the extra weight.The initial phase was very strenuous, but with a lot of hard work and dedication, Aammir made it to the desired look. He followed a rigorous fitness regime along with long hours of workout to get into shape in less than 25 weeks, weighing 70 kgs with 9% body fat.

“Though I went through bodybuilding to get a certain look for my film, this (Dangal) was one of the most dramatic body transformations so far,” Aamir said.
