Russell Crowe Workout routine and Diet plan. Russell Crowe was born on 7 April 1964 is an  Australian actor, film producer and musician. He is best known for Gladiator, A Beautiful Mind, L.A. Confidential, Les Misérables. Russell Crowe got into shape for the Gladiator movie by performing a huge variety of training methods that all helped the actor shave off the 35 pounds that he packed on while filming Body Of Lies. Let us look at his body fitness training.

Exercise routine

His training program included long distance cycling, intense boxing workouts and fighting drills in addition to hitting the weights to pack on lean muscle mass. He also devoted one hour a day to get into fighting shape for his role in Gladiator. 

Now he again appears to be on a strict diet plan which mixes biking and lifting weights for over an hour.

"Many times, Just like your muscle has memory, so does yr body, if i stop exercising my body tries to return to its heaviest weight," Crew says.

Eating Plan

For Diet Russell consumed six to eight small meals a day that consisted of lean proteins, complex carbohydrates and good, heart healthy monounsaturated fats for his role in Gladiator. He chose high fiber fruits and vegetables to help eliminate his excess body fat  and  he also consumed protein supplements to assist him in reaching the daily protein requirements.

Now he again appears to be on a strict diet plan, "Aim to be taking in roughly 2400 cal/ 2600 cal including all beverages," he wrote on 19 june.
