Varun Dhawan Workout and Diet. Varun Dhawan was born on 24 April 1987 is an Indian film actor. He is best known for his role in  Karan Johar's Student Of The Year. He won  Lions Gold Awards and  Stardust Awards for best male debut for Student Of The Year. His latest film Main Tera Hero will be releasing in 2013 for which he has hit the gym and is working out extensively to get a leaner look for his role. He is gifted with great looks, has a chiseled body, acts well and his dancing skills are also amazing. Let us look at his fitness training.

I have been doing a lot of mixed martial arts training and light weight training. My trainer Prashant, who also trains Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn, has put me on a completely new workout regime. He has been training for two months and has another two to go. The actor’s new look is supposedly very deceptive. 

Martial training, light weight lifting, cardio workouts etc. are some of the workouts he does on regular basis. Weight lifting is an efficient way of toning your body. He certainly practices it, but makes sure that his weights don’t cross 25-30 kg. By altering the weights from light to heavy and then heavy to light, you can forbid weight loss plateau.








He said, I have been training to get more flexible as well. I don’t want to use a body double. I want to do it myself because I’ve always enjoyed action. It’s a complete change from my first film, even though I play a college student this time as well.




Diet and Nutrition






My trainer Prashant, who also trains Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn, has put me on a completely new diet Varun says.


  • Breakfast: Varun prefers having omelet, oatmeal, whole-wheat grain sandwich etc. in his breakfast.
  • Lunch: The handsome dude likes having steamed brown rice, three chapatis, broccoli, baked chicken etc. in his lunch.
  • Snacks: He prefers having fruits such as papaya, banana, protein smoothie, lotus seeds, etc.in his snacks.
