Chris Pratt lost impressive weight after following a beer-free diet for 6 months. His spectacular weight loss transformation proved to the world just how serious he took his role in the upcoming Guardians of Galaxy. He lost about 50 to 60 pounds weight in 6 months. Exercise routine



Chris did intense weight-lifting and cardio workouts and followed a low-carb diet for 6 months. He worked out for all the 7 days in a week. "If you just bust your ass and get after it all it takes is about 6 months really," Chris says He practiced several strength training and cardio workouts to give muscular look to his body. His sculpted and carved physique proves the effortful workouts he executed to rip his body. "I just like to gain weight and lose weight. It's a roller coaster," Pratt says.

Dieting routine


In Diet, he switched to wholesome foods such as fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds etc. and strictly stopped drinking beer for over six months. "Six months no beer," Pratt, wrote in the photo caption. "My brother made me post this." He was following a low carb diet for getting proper amount of carb. He also weeded out consumption of fatty foods such as red meat and switched to lean meat only.
