As director Sanjay Gadhvi and choreographer Bosco-Ceaser wanted him to bare his torso for the rocking number 'Boom Boom' and gave him a time of just 6-8 weeks for building a chiseled body. Let us look at his fitness training.

Workout and Fitness Equipments

His Fitness training included a rigorous one hour exhaustive session twice a day supported by small portions of meals every few hours. During the training routine, Jackky had to totally refrain from having salt and sweet dishes. His house gym has all the essentials for a perfect workout. I have a treadmill, cross trainer, Smith machine, cross-cable (pulley) machine and a regular arms and legs extension Jackky says.

For the last two years, I have been concentrating on Cross-fit, which makes your body agile. Cross-fit is like a military boot camp where you use your body weight to do various functional movements at excruciating speed. I do this 2-3 times a week for 45 minutes. I also lift weights and spend a good 25-30 minutes on cardio.

Diet and Nutrition

Jackky had to go on a crash diet so much so he had to quit salt intake from his food. He went through grueling work out sessions and had to leave everything to get the required results.
I eat small portions every two hours. I also eat a wholesome meal like chapati and sabzi. Ideally dinner should be eaten by 7 pm but since I can’t do that on a daily basis, I always eat light. I had to leave everything. I had to quit salt intake from food. I had no life for eight weeks.

The most difficult part of the training was the complete avoidance of partying with friends and adapting a controlled lifestyle with a compulsory seven hours sleep.
