Aditya Roy Kapur is an Indian film actor best known for his roles in Aashiqui 2, Ok Jaanu, Fitoor, Ye Jawaani hai Deewani and Daawat-e-Ishq. Before coming to Bollywood he was a VJ on Channel V. Aditya Roy Kapur grabbed everyone's attention with his sculpted body for Fitoor. Since then he has a well toned physique and for the movie Aditya opted for different type of training which is Body Sculpting. The goal of body sculpting is to increase lean body mass as you decrease fat deposits, creating a more defined toned look without bulking it up. "I had to work very hard for Fitoor. I did eat very little and at times worked out twice a day. It doesn't come easy," Aditya said. So let us take a look at Aditya Roy Kapur's Body Fitness training routine.

Workout routine




Aditya Roy Kapur works out with his trainer Prashant Sawant for at least 4 days a week for about an hour and a half. His is routine has always been a mix of weight training, body weight exercises, core strengthening techniques, flexibility enhancing training along with cardio. He got a different workout every alternative day to maximize the gains. Aditya like to work out specifically his legs and never misses Legs day. For the movie Fitoor, he trained for 6 months to achieve his alpha male look required by the character.

Aditya got down to 7% body fat in such a short span of time which is incredible. "I had to work very hard for Fitoor. I did eat very little and at times worked out twice a day. It doesn't come easy," said Aditya.

Diet plan

Aditya's diet plan consists of 6 meals a day at an interval of 2 hours and so. He is a foodie so it was not easy for him to stay away from food so he worked hard extra to burn those extra calories. He got his meals tailored from nutritionist to make sure his meals have balanced nutrition with good taste. He typically eats oats in the breakfast and brown rice in the lunch.

According to Aditya, "Fiber, carbs and water are extremely crucial. Training will bear fruit only when one is consistent. Starvation or extreme dieting will harm your body."
